Joseph Scott is a commercial litigator with broad experience drafting and arguing motions, formulating effective discovery strategies, and efficiently resolving disputes of all sizes.

Before joining the firm, Joseph practiced at a boutique firm focusing on business disputes and professional liability. He has experience managing all stages of litigation, from drafting and arguing motions to developing discovery strategies and achieving efficient resolutions.

Joseph began his legal career as a clerk for the Hon. Stuart M. Rice of the Los Angeles Superior Court. He further refined his skills in the court’s coverage department, where he drafted tentative rulings for over 30 independent calendar judges. In 2020, he was appointed to a pioneer task force responsible for issuance legal and constitutional guidance to the California courts in response to challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

I am a big fan of horror (books and films), and coincidentally, of visiting the state of Maine. On any given weekend, I’ll catch a matinée movie, take the motorcycle up PCH, run or cycle to the beach, and plan on cooking something interesting with my wife.
